2025 ELECTIONS

Dixie Softball is a girls softball program where directors in a state (district, state, and national) are democratically elected by the franchised leagues within a respective state.  National officers are elected by the national board members representing each Dixie Softball state.  All Dixie Softball officials serve on a volunteer basis and receive no salary for doing so.

All Dixie Softball directors serve under the auspices of Dixie Softball, Inc. only and not under the authority of another softball association or a baseball organization.  All directors of Dixie Softball are subject to elections and can be voted out of office unlike most other organization offering girls softball.  Dixie Softball is the only national girls softball program that is not an afterthought of an adult program or a baseball program.  Dixie Softball is a program that was established for GIRLS ONLY and operated by officials elected through the Constitution established for Dixie Softball only.

The following Dixie Softball positions are up for election in 2025:

STATE DIRECTORS (3 year terms)

Nominations for state director must be mailed to: Preston Leonard, 612 Wagner Circle, Gastonia, NC 28054 postmarked no later than April 1 of the current year.  Nominations must be signed by a league president from a league that was franchised with Dixie Softball the previous year.

DISTRICT DIRECTORS (2 year term)
ALL ODD NUMBERED DISTRICTS WILL HAVE DISTRICT DIRECTOR ELECTIONS IN 2025

NATIONAL DIRECTORS UP FOR ELECTION IN 2025 (3 year term)
