2026 World Series Bids Are In

The bidding for hosting a 2026 World Series is now closed.

NOTE: BEGINNING WITH THE 2026 DIXIE SOFTBALL WORLD SERIES', THE X-play STYLE OF PLAY WORLD SERIES WILL NO LONGER BE OFFERED.  THE RULES OF THE SWEETEES, ANGELS AND PONYTAILS WILL BE MODIFIED TO INCLUDE RULES THAT WILL FIT BOTH THE TRADITIONAL AND X-play STYLES OF PLAY.  FROM 1976 - 2011, DIXIE SOFTBALL OFFERED ONLY ONE STYLE OF PLAY IN EACH OF ITS WORLD SERIES.  IN 2026, DIXIE SOFTBALL WILL RETURN TO THAT POLICY. 

Dixie Softball has 4 leagues that are bidding on the 2026 World Series.  Leagues bidding to host a 2026 Dixie Softball World Series are: 

DIXIE SWEETEES - BELLEVIEW, FLORIDA and SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NORTH CAROLINA

DIXIE DARLINGS - BELLEVIEW, FLORIDA and SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NORTH CAROLINA

DIXIE ANGELS - BELLEVIEW, FLORIDA, SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NORTH CAROLINA, & NEWBERRY COUNTY, SOUTH   
                               CAROLINA

DIXIE PONYTAILS - WEST PASCO, FLORIDA, SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NORTH CAROLINA, & NEWBERRY COUNTY, SOUTH                                       CAROLINA

BELLES - WEST PASCO, FLORIDA and SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NORTH CAROLINA

DEBS - WEST PASCO, FLORIDA and SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NORTH CAROLINA
